Membership with Pilgrim Festival Chorus

Pilgrim Festival Chorus is a premier, welcoming community chorus with vocalists of all skill levels from amateur to professional, dedicated to the performance of high-quality choral music from many genres.

New members are invited to join in September for our winter concert, in January for our spring concert, and in May for our summer concert, after attending an open rehearsal and completing a Vocal Placement Session (VPS). If you’d like to join Pilgrim Festival Chorus, please contact our Artistic Directors Elizabeth Chapman Reilly or William B. Richter to confirm attending an open rehearsal or just join us at Faith Community Church in Plymouth. Open rehearsal and Vocal Placement Session dates and times are listed on our event calendar.  For more information about joining PFC, contact us at membership@pilgrimfestivalchorus.org

A successful volunteer community chorus requires full participation in scheduled concerts and rehearsals. PFC collects dues and music fees in September for the winter concert, in January for the spring concert, and in May for the summer concert either online or at registration. If this poses a financial hardship, please speak with the President. Dues/music and the membership form and agreement can be submitted online through the member portal or at registration.

Regular weekly rehearsals

Dress rehearsals
Dress rehearsals take place at our concert performance venues.

Each singer is expected to learn all musical selections, including correct notation and text. Music should be learned as accurately as possible so that our Artistic Directors can work on dynamics and musical interpretation. Chorus members will be provided with learning and practice tools through the member portal to utilize at home to be better prepared for rehearsals.
